Energy Efficient Communities Program – High Energy Using Business Grants
The Australian Government has launched the Energy Efficient Communities Program – High Energy Using Business Grants to help facilitate energy efficient practices for businesses. This provides businesses with grants of up to $25,000, which may be used for may be used for equipment and component improvements, energy audits, feasibility studies and/or energy use and emission monitoring. The program will run from 2019-2022/2023, with the aim of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption, whilst simultaneously reducing energy costs for businesses.
Businesses with a net energy consumption of more than 0.05 PJ per year are eligible to apply. Grant applications close on 24 September 2020 at 5pm. More information can be found on the government’s website.
