DELWP: Solar for public buildings project

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning is a sector of the Victorian state government that is focused on creating a liveable, inclusive and sustainable Victoria with thriving natural environments. The solar for public buildings program looks to install solar systems on public buildings within the Barwon South West, Grampians, Hume, Loddon Mallee and Port Phillip regions, to help reduce energy bills and enhance the long-term sustainability of community groups.

AEES Group was selected to support DELWP’s “Solar for Public Buildings” program. Since commencement AEES Group is installing Solar PV and batteries on over 60 projects in DELWP’s jurisdiction in the state of Victoria. This project not only reduces carbon emissions and electricity spend on community buildings around the state, but also provides battery storage that will assist with a back-up support network for power reliability.
