Wingara Ag Ltd (ASX:WNR) has announced that it has entered into an agreement with AEES Group to Install Renewable Energy Generation aimed at reducing WNR’s energy cost while meeting sustainability targets. AEES has worked with WNR installing 275 kW at the companies JC Tanloden’s operations at Epsom, Vic.
The next project to be delivered under the working agreement is 450 kW for Austco Polar Cold Storage in Laverton North, Vic. This project includes sophisticated control systems in order to manage load swings and maintain uninterrupted power supply of renewable and generator energy for low-cost and best environmental outcomes. The project is expected to generate net energy savings of between 35 and 40%.
In total, WNR’s rooftop installations will include 5.9MW of Solar PV and associated energy efficiency technologies over the three sites which will include energy storage.
